Lightpath Voice Services Shine In Extensive Industry Study

Receives analyst firm ATLANTIC-ACM’s 2016 North American Business Connectivity Service Provider Excellence Award based on extensive customer surveys

JERICHO, NY, JULY 14, 2016 – Lightpath, a division of Altice USA, a leading national telecommunications, media and entertainment company, today announced that its voice services portfolio has been highlighted for value and quality following an extensive customer survey conducted by analyst firm ATLANTIC-ACM. The company was awarded ATLANTIC-ACM’s 2016 North American Business Connectivity Service Provider Excellence Award for Voice Value in the midsized provider division. The award was recently presented at an annual ceremony as part of the Telecom Exchange event in New York City.

ATLANTIC-ACM president and managing partner, Fedor Smith said, “Voice services remain absolutely vital when it comes to running a business, and Lightpath's strong performance in the 2016 North American Business Connectivity Report Card study’s Voice Value category reflects the high quality of services it provides and the competitive price point at which it is able to offer those services.”

The North American Business Connectivity Excellence awards are based on in-depth customer surveys conducted by ATLANTIC-ACM as part of its annual North American Business Connectivity Report Card. This year’s award recipients were chosen following analysis of more than 3,400 carrier ratings collected from more than 1,200 telecom business services customers. The Voice Value award is given to the provider that received the highest combined average score for the quality and price competitiveness of their voice product suite.

“This acknowledgement by ATLANTIC-ACM is especially gratifying because it spotlights two areas of our business where we aim to deliver for our customers every day across every product we sell – value and reliability,” said Kevin Stephens, president of business services for Altice USA. “This leadership, backed by a 100% fiber-based offering, a customer-first philosophy and an expansive network that is everywhere our customers need it to be, is what helps us continue to develop business throughout the New York metro area.”

Lightpath, a market leader in Ethernet-based communication solutions for New York metropolitan area businesses, offers both managed and unmanaged voice solutions that address the diverse needs of its mid-size and enterprise business customers throughout the New York metro area.
