Will join customers at annual education tech gathering to present on private fiber architectures.

JERICHO, NY — January 21, 2016 — Lightpath®, a market leader in Ethernet-based communication solutions for New York metropolitan area businesses, will present at the upcoming New Jersey Association of School Administrators (NJASA) annual Techspo event taking place January 28 – 29 in Atlantic City. Lightpath will also sponsor a networking reception being held at the close of the day on January 28. Techspo is a full two-day technology exhibition and training conference attended by school leaders throughout New Jersey.
Lightpath will present a “Next Generation Fiber Networks” session, discussing private fiber deployments and the advantages schools realize by implementing them. Technical representatives from Lightpath customers, Edison and Ringwood School Districts will also participate in the panel discussion and share insights about district deployments.
Lightpath recently announced that it has connected more than 65 New Jersey schools to its 100 percent fiber network in the last year through participation in the New Jersey Department of Education’s Digital Readiness for Learning and Assessment Project (DRLAP) initiative. The company was recently named the preferred provider of hosted phone service for K-12 New Jersey schools that are members of a purchasing consortium created as part of the DRLAP initiative and administered by the Middlesex Regional Educational Services Commission. Lightpath serves the education market with fiber-based voice and data offerings that give school districts high speed and reliable connectivity without a large financial investment.
